Cash Sales

In accounting terms, cash sales means goods are paid immediately during the sales. Cash sales does not means goods must be paid with cash.Customers can pay the business with cash or cheque. Yes. It can be paid by cheque and it is considered as cash sales.

Cash sales is recorded in Cash Receipt Journal and not Sales Journal. We do not collect customer information such as name and addresses in cash sales.
