Drawing

Drawing occurs when business owner takes asset out of the business for private use. Drawing is not considered as expenses to the business. When drawing occurs, we need to debit the Drawing account and credit the asset account (depends on what asset has been taken out). Alternatively, we can also debit the Capital account instead of the Drawing account but this will creates a lot of transactions in the Capital, which is not recommended. The Drawing account is actually similar to the Expenses Account.

UBS Accounting
UBS Accounting do not have a special type called Drawing.
