Cash Receipt Journal

Cash Receipt Journal is used to receive all cash and cheque. Cash Receipt Journal can be used to replace the Debit section of Cash Book. There is only one columns for amount. Cash and Bank columns in Cash Book are combined to give only one column. Therefore, all cash receipts are assumed to be banked in on the same day it is received.
